IOSH Managing Safely

Employers are legally required to ensure all staff are provided with adequate health and safety training. Managers and supervisors in particular should be aware of their responsibilities and be competent to manage health and safety effectively.

IOSH Managing Safely is a dynamic and practical course. This course is primarily designed for managers with responsibilities for people or processes, but equally relevant to any level of management and those in supervisory positions.

The aim of this course is to ensure that safety requirements are appreciated by those with a managerial/supervisory role, and to enable them to review their own systems for safety, introduce new controls, or implement change as appropriate to make their workplace safer.

The course is structured in eight modules spread over four days and is assessed by an end course assessment and workplace practical risk assessment project.

This course can be delivered in single days if four consecutive days are not suitable.

This level of accreditation is widely recognised as a transferable level of attainment in health and safety.

Ewing Consultancy, in partnership with IOSH, introduces a new approach to health and safety training. Our trainers use ‘brain friendly’ learning techniques which result in reinforced memory and an enhanced ability to recall information than would otherwise be the case.

Our ‘brain friendly’ techniques paired with IOSH state of the art animation and interactive exercises make this 4 day course an unforgettable training experience.
