Emma has been working with Macmillan since September 2011. The organisation decided a focus on premises fire and safety was required and we looked for a reputable company to carry out Fire Risk Assessments on each of our premises.
Macmillan had no hesitation in appointing Emma as she came highly recommended to our organisation. Emma’s hands-on experience of driving change whilst understanding the business needs helped persuade us that she was the right person for the job.
It proved to be an inspired decision. Macmillan employs staff who are compassionate, focussed and driven. Some feared the fire risk assessment may ‘get in the way’ of all the good work we do. Ewing Consultancy assisted us with an occupational health risk assessment and we found them to be both professional and friendly throughout there visit.
Being new to OH services we were unsure what to expect, however Emma made the process very easy by assisting us both (the employer) and the employee step by step.
During the assessment she met and talked with colleagues in-depth and we were impressed with how quickly she understood the issues and built rapport with the employees.
We were very happy with the written report received, which clearly identified the concerns (both from the employer’s perspective and the employee’s) and suggested ways to resolve these together.
